I’m Cape Tonian and love Jiujitsu, surfing, music, running a business and being a tourist in this beautiful mother city. Ive been Dj’ing for 15 years in clubs and festivals in and around Cape Town, and internationally in London, Ibiza and New York.
I have a Purple Belt in Jiujitsu , and been actively training for over seven years. I’ve had the honour of training with Rener, Ryron and Rolker Gracie[Humaita Academy in Rio], and have trained in Amsterdam, Thailand, Los An- geles, as well as competed in Brazil. I Love Jiujitsu because of how it teaches you patience and strategy which transfers into daily life at every level.
I look forward to entertaining the high level athletes and spectators at ‘Unan1mous’with some grooving music, as we witness this incredible art form unfold.

“I am a Cape Town based physiotherapist and started my practice within the same week of meeting the guys at RGA. Started offering treatments at the gym and early last year took a class out of curiosity and was instantly hooked.
Since then I’ve trained hard and competed in various comps in Cape Town, earned my blue belt and have had the privilege of training at Roger Gracie in London, RGA in NYC with John Danaher, Gregor Gracie, Robson Gracie and Renzo himself. A major highlight of my recent trip to the U.S. was getting to watch the live event of Metamoris 4 in L.A. and meeting great competitors like Kit Dale, Keenan Cornelius and the awesome Dean Lister.
I genuinely love the sport and how it constantly challenges and equips your brain as much as your body. More than anything, it gives you a universal language that gains you an instant family/ home base when traveling. Just remember to pack in your gi and you’re good to go!”
